Intimidation, drink driving charges

FROM THE FORCE:  A 41-year-old Yass man has been charged with intimidation and high-range drink driving after a domestic incident in Yass on Saturday evening.

Police said the man’s blood-alcohol level came to 0.189 when they were called to the incident between 6pm and 7.25pm.

The man will appear before Yass Local Court on September 8.

Aged care facility burgled

Yass police are investigation the theft of a television set and money from the Apex aged care residential homes.

An offender/s broke into the premises sometime between 5pm on Sunday and 2.34am the following morning.

Anyone with information should contact police.

Intimidation charge

A 47-year-old Murrumbateman man has been charged with intimidation after a domestic incident at Murrumbateman on Friday evening.

Police were called to assist between 6pm and 6.48pm.

He was bailed to appear before Yass Local Court on September 8.

Man fined for visiting pub against ban

A 23-year-old Yass man has been fined $550 for failing to leave a licensed premises.

He was at the pub at 1.15am on Sunday  despite being previously banned from the establishment.

Suspended driver

A 29-year-old man has been ordered to appear before Yass Local Court for driving while suspended.

Police stopped his vehicle on Kavaney’s Road in Murrumbateman at 3am on Saturday.

Inquiries revealed his licence had been suspended.
