SOME of the trendiest city eateries will be setting up a “pop-up” restaurant and entertainment hub at Riverbank Park as they tour through Yass on Wednesday.

The collection of city businesses, called Beast Feast, will tour from Sydney to Melbourne, stopping in at Moruya, Yass, Gundagai and Albury along the way.

They will trade out of repurposed shipping containers between 4pm – 10pm at each location, offering visitors authentic napoli pizza, craft beer and Palestinian bakery goods.

The group encompasses businesses such as Young Henrys, Knafeh, Happy As Larry, Sol Invictus Motorcycle Co and The Stables.

“Beast Feast is the brainchild of Danny and Todd from The Stables,” said Jenny Shaw, from Young Henrys. beastfeast1

“The road trip unites like-minded businesses with the goal of serving the people a quality product, in areas of Australia that may not necessarily have access to a perfect pizza or delicious fresh beer.

“It’s not only about feeding these people but also bringing the party and a night of food, beer, music, dancing and a culture that locals may not have experienced before.”

Working out of an unassuming shipping container, the gentleman of Knafeh have turned what’s ostensibly just a steel box, in to a fully functioning commercial bakery adorned with street art. The ‘Bearded Bakers’ sing and dance as they create the tastes of Jerusalem. beastfeast2

Sol Invictus Motorcycle Co. will lead the Beast Feast convoy with their 250cc Mercury Cafe Racers, offering test rides at stops along the way.

Happy As Larry plans to deliver a full sensory experience, spreading good vibes and bringing traditional Napoletana wood-fired pizza to the Yass Valley.

The Stables feature a diverse mix of consumer brands within a coffee bean scented, atmospheric, vibe-hub.
