4yo Bowning boy run over by lawn mower

BREAKING: A four-year-old Bowning boy has undergone emergency surgery after being run over by a ride-on lawn mower earlier today.

His father had been operating the mower at the time the accident happened.

He was transferred to Yass Hospital by paramedics at about 1.30pm before being airlifted by SouthCare Helicopter to Canberra Hospital for emergency surgery on his wounds. He is currently in hospital in Sydney.

He was reported to be in a stable condition at 8pm.
