Firearms stolen in Wee Jasper burglary

A number of firearms have been taken during a burglary at a home near Wee Jasper.

Yass Police were contacted yesterday following reports firearms and car keys were stolen from a property on Mountain Creek Road.

It’s believed the items were taken between Wednesday and Friday after the property was broken into.

The items reported stolen include:

• 3 x .22 calibre rifle
• 1 x .22 long rifle
• 1 x calibre 177 rifle
• 1 x double barrel shotgun
• 1 x single barrel shotgun
• Ammunition, and
• Car keys.

No one was at the premises at the time of the incident.
