JUNIOR RUGBY: After the previous week’s defeat by Marist College, the Yass-Rosary Rams were keen to redeem themselves against the Gungahlin Eagles.
The Rams were missing key players Tom Carey, PatrickMcPhillips and Jordan Wilson but the rest of the team stepped up to fill the gaps.

The first half was dominated by the Rams with scores from Shaun Harris, Charlie Crozier and Jerome McGrath backed up with conversions by Charlie Crozier and George Walker.
The Eagles broke free once and scored a single try, finishing thehalf at 26 -5.

After the break, the Eagles put some hard pressure on the Rams. Both teams fought hard for possession throughout the second half.
Jerome McGrath broke free twice more and scored tries with conversions from George Walker and Charlie Crozier.
In the end, theYass-Rosary Rams proved too much for theGungahlin Eagles with the final score 40 – 12 to the Rams.

The Player’s Player was unanimously voted to Shaun Harris who also tied for Coaches Player of the week with Mitch Gunning.
The Rams have one more game in the regular season before the finals rounds begin. They meet Grammar Blue at Grammar next Saturday at 10:30am.
