Serious accident on Barton Highway

BREAKING: There’s been a serious accident involving three vehicles on the Barton Highway between Kaveneys and Nanima roads at Wallaroo this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the accident at about 8.45am.

Paramedics, police and fire units are on the scene, and traffic is affected in both directions.

The condition of those involved has not yet been revealed.

The cause of the accident is being investigated. Two kangaroos were found dead on the road nearby.
